So I own a Trek H2 compact 2014 and I just put some 32mm slicks on it. They fit on the bike with no rubbing, and overall seem to *fit*
BUT, I only have about 2.5mm of clearance on the chainstays and the seat tube, which from what I've read is enough for a road bike. HOWEVER, factoring in the front derailleur clamp, there is only 1.5mm gap.
Are these clearances too small overall for a general use road bike? I've tried to keep this bike inbetween racey and commutey, but maybe I've pushed it too far with the tires?
Side note, all the clearances seem ok visually besides from the seatpost clamp.
