I rode ky rubaix thru some muddy snow on a dirt road today and shit got in my rim brakes.

Damage so should I get new pads or will disassembly and cleaning suffice?
Also this is my first road bike and ive always had disk on my mtb so how do I know which pads are suitable for my bike when ordering? I have a campy chorus setup and i think it's a 2012 model rubaix but i got it second hand from some boomer in Grand Junction and he wasn't sure what year it was and I haven't bothered to check the SN to find out.
