Does anyone know what the frameset weight is for Trek Domane AL Disc in size 56?
I'm torn between Domane and Checkpoint. Both cover my use case, but Domane seems a bit more road focused fine for me. But since Domane doesn't come as frameset only I'm having hard time getting info on frame + fork weight (for 56 Checkpoint ALR it's 2,48kg). Only information I got is that Domane frame should be "well in excess of 1400g" and no info on fork.
The bike itself is very heavy considering it's supposed to be a road bike but I don't know how much of that weight is components. They make Domane with 100 series alloy only (wtf Trek) while Chekpoint gets the 300 Series (ALR). I'm going with custom drivetrain setup so I'll be throwing out anything these bikes come with anyway - Just looking what would be a better base to start with weight-wise.
