Idk who to blame, a lot of student pilots just dgaf these days and treat flight training like the same joke their public school was during the coof. you can't tell them anything or explain to them principles, especially the girlboss types who either resent or want to shag their male CFI's. then again CFI's just skip so much these days, and the schools (particularly 141) with the prohibitions of landing on grass and not letting solo pilots push themselves do no favors.
