>>1389644Had a chance to have a more thorough look at the bike today, and tried to do some work on it.
>tiresThey seem fine as far as i can tell.
>chainI couldn't get the chain off, it doesnt look like my chain has one of those quick releases. I cleaned it best i could though and lubed it up
>shiftingthe shifting is kind of fucked up. I got it to the point where it can shift up and down through the gears. But shifting down takes a few more clicks for some reason. Also the "front derailleur" is really out of wack, It doesnt change between the big and little cranks at all.
>brakesthey *work* but not very well. Also the rear break gets a little stuck, but not really noticable while riding.
I took it for a ride after fiddling with it. It feels okay, I definitely need to adjust my seat more. I'm going to keep riding it and try to use it for my commute soon. I really need new pedals though, i was thinking about the Power Grip perdals. What are some other upgrades to think about? Any advice is welcome, cheers.
