I must say I quite dislike buses in my city, it's not inherently their fault, but of the streetlight patterns, general disrespect of bus lanes by cagers and bikers, and a lack of a good BRT infrastucture system.
I can do the same itinerary at night with no traffic in less time than by bus, with a shitty bike at no more than 15km/h on average. Just skipping traffic lights.
