>>1007023I'd like to consider myself somewhere between experienced and beginner. I'm not completely new but I still haven't been riding mtb that long.
I recently replaced my xc bike with a self built on one 456 because I found myself enjoying riding downhill and doing jumps.
The reason I asked if it's clever to get a hardtail am bike is that I noticed that full suspension enduro/all mountain bike prices today (especially if you are including the used bikes as well) aren't that high and also the full suspension bike doesn't weigh that much more.
The reason I ended up with a hardtail was simply because I enjoy building the bike completely myself (even though I know it costs more that way) and where I live there are much more used hardtail frames available in my size (XL/20") than full suspension ones.
Also for some reason I enjoy the looks of a hardtail more.
