I don't ride motorcycles but cars for one peaked in the 90s and a 10 year gap to get a used market going is peak value and then it all heads downhill. I know the same safety and emissions standards can't have cucked motorcycles quite as hard but you still had functionally modern engines, sophisticated fuel injection, prevalance of discs, etc, back then.
