Agreed. I believe in small government and I realized how much America's car-dependency costs and how much ridiculous bureacracy it requires.
You've got to zone every parcel of land and pay for freeways, signage, policing, traffic lights, exit ramps, bridge construction, etc.
And the gas tax barely pays for any of it. It's a huge drain on cities and states.
Not to mention expanding the highways doesn't even help traffic.
