The WDW people mover has a model of Walt's Progress City inside the first tunnel which later became the basis for his EPCOT project until the cancer got him from smoking like a chimney and Roy turned it into a theme park.
>>1387933It is a good system, the Magic Kingdom one moves about 5,000 people an hour, 40,000 passengers a day. For a theme park ride with one stop that's not terrible. I think it would scale up, but the days of investing in light rail of any kind of are long dead because of auto lobbies. Also, those Crystal Movers are hideous, Bombardier made much nicer APMs.
