I never even knew what this was before I saw /n/ being butthurt about it.
Me personally, I'm just a dude who rides my bike, I don't buy expensive shit like /n/'s idea of an "unracer" - my bike cost £100 and over the decade that I've owned it, I've probably spent a maximum of £100 on new parts and maintenance for it.
But I would have no problem with people who ride expensive bikes. If that's what they want to do, all power to them, and also as long as somebody is getting exercise then that's a good thing in my book.
Do you reckon it's just one dude who spends his entire day writing blog posts on /n/ about how this idea of an "unracer" makes him seethe? I bet he even made up the word and the concept himself. Maybe someone on an expensive bike absolutely demolished him up a climb one day and he remained butthurt from then on. Lmao.
