What would really be sustainable? Well maybe actually putting the hundreds of thousands of old but abandoned and already-made bikes to use.
But this would be more a "movement" than a "profit-generating" enterprise in the current framework.
And since people have this concept that charity isn't allowed to be profitable while the most soulless crap rakes in billions this is what we get.
