I like trains because of the concept, they are heavy machinery that runs on rails at moderate-high speeds, not the mention aesthetically pleasing liveries, distinctive engine noises, the smell of electricity, the sound of generators buzzing underneath a pantograph, and scenery such as level crossings, my favourite are pic related, old 1970s style AHB crossings
