It's about a 2kg difference between the bikes, the old one being a entry level roadie, the new one a gravel bike. My issue mainly is if I'll feel slower with the fatter tyres, because I'm interested in a bit more comfort (current tyres are 23mm) and gearing (mostly the gearing).
I love the skinny look of my bike, but being able to use it more often in mud or dirt paths would be a huge plus. Whenever I cross one of those, I try to be there as little as possible and ride off the saddle.
