This is going to be expensive isn't it? I was planning to replace the cassette anyway, but I'm hoping not the chain rings. Just replacing the big ring could cost over twice what I paid for the cassette. Assuming I really should though.
Strangely though this happened in only 700 miles. I don't think I neglected lubrication, I did it several times during my ownership of the bike. My current belief is the chain isn't as new as seller claimed, which I had taken to mean brand new. On the other hand the 42:26 low gear grinding my 220lb ass up 10% slopes must have been more wear than the typical drivetrain sees.
