>>1913749>every German I've spoken to seemed autisticThough I can give you that germs are quite autistic, it seems like you couldn't handle European mindset.
Europeans and Americans work very differently. I say "Americans" including the whole of the Americas. A US American will understand Mexicans better than Spaniards will understand Mexicans, other than the language.
Americans who can't handle this all go crazy in Europe, or live just within their expat ghettos. The details on this would fill a whole book, but basically the way we behave and treat each other and communicate are profoundly different. If you just randomly start to chat someone up in Europe you're a fucking weirdo. If you think "outside the box" you're a retard. If you don't consider our complex societal structures and habits, and don't submit to individual "prestige" (kinda like this japanese seniority thing but more universal) you don't belong here because you'll just make a fool of yourself. I've seen it happen too many times to count.
So yeah, public transport here is great, and it's great to not get killed by feral joggers in the city (although that's getting progressively worse), but if you ever think of moving to Europe, consider what I said. Look up threads on /trv/ or other forums and try to read between the lines when Americans bitch about euros being autistic. I'm not saying you can't come, just consider that there's way more to it than le funny trains and different language.
