btw you can put 1.5 litre bottles in regular bottle cages if you just bend them open then add a strap

don't feel like you need a brooks or really anything fancy to tour on. It's amazing the shitty setups like true bsos i've meet people riding who get by just fine. Just always keep that in mind when you start wanting fancy stuff. But yeah, I like em.

also are those pedals spds or jsut the regular kind? If it's the latter highly rec you change them to like fookers or the mzyrh clone or add cages/straps to them

it's not really a setup. More just generally useful for whatever. Like after my lowrider racks broke i used one to strap my tent to my bars. Also one on the seat tube bottle in this pic. V useful in camp for rigging stuff too. They are just so much better than tie downs and hook bungeys. You can't pull tie downs tight in the same way. They aren't nearly as secure.

Hopefully you won't get rained on much in japan lol. Heavy rain sucks so bad. If you did get roller classics you wouldn't need dry bags. They are dry bags.

you could probably find a tent with 30cm poles.
it doesn't have to go in your bag either. lots of people just strap their tent to their rear rack top. If you want it dry in a bag then you can separate the poles and the rest.
or strap your tent to your bars. I did it like that after i broke my lowriders on a tour
