>>1693376yeah the more niche titanium bits are still a bit pricey on aliexpress though, and nobody seems to sell bike-specific titanium track nuts (or the search function is broken for me). maybe a full set of track nuts wouldn't be economical anyway, the ebay listing claims 21 g/pair so they're almost as heavy as my steel dt swiss ones weighing roughly 29 g/pair (generic steel nuts weigh up to 44 g/pair according to halo's marketing). generic M10 flange nuts weigh roughly 13.25 g/pair (based on an aliexpress review which had a pic of 8 of them weighing 53 g). saving almost 16 g for less than $10 with the rear nuts is good value imo, and hopefully they won't look too out of place aesthetically with the plain silver colored ones next to the other steel/titanium hardware. if the mtb-focused store that sells halo stuff in my country wasn't retarded (when i emailed them requesting black ones they suggested a pair in a different color and another that was entirely incompatible), it would be like $20+ for a 21 g saving with halo a-nuts front and rear, at that point the 5 g difference is not worth it to me for the added expense, compromise in aesthetics, and potentially losing a fraction of a watt in aero due to the a-nuts being thick with thick washers. ordering directly from the halo website would be a waste with the 20 bongs shipping fee plus import fees.
