So I've got two bikes of very similar geometry but one is much more comfy than the other and I've consulted the graphs for weeks now scratching my head and only just this week thought to consider the handle bar width and lo and behold the comfier bike has 400mm bars and the less comfy bike has 420mm bars. So I need 400mm bars for my less comfy bike, obviously.
Which takes me to my question, other than muh grams am I losing out if I just get alloy bars? Surely there's no noticeable ride quality difference if I'm already on 32mm tires? Also anyone got a good pair of drop bars they can suggest? Pretty much all I care about is comfy. I'll take a 100g weight penalty if they feel better to ride on whether that means vibrations or contours. I was looking at Ritchey WCS Evocurve alloy because someone on the internet said they were good.
