Missed my chance to grab one of several of these Bianchi Arias brand new at a liquidation auction today, they went for just 1500 after fees and before tax. I went to go see them yesterday and fell in love unexpectedly. I thought they might be a bit large but the size and fit seemed perfect and it was the lightest bike I’ve had my hands on even though it’s simply entry spec for carbon. I love the look too with the paint and decals, modern bikes are way too plain. While I think I prefer Shimano style shifters (even though most of my riding has been on Tourney pseudo campag style shifters) it’s more of a quirk than a real detriment. Absolutely kicking myself for not having the cash currently - being a NEET is no longer fun. Odds are I’ll hear back from some recruiters before insurance pays out for the accident that claimed my last bike.
