hey im into rc aircraft. not much of a flyer, more into the building. I've designed and built some planes (like 1.2-2m wingspan) and vtol things in the past.
over the summer (aus) i wanna make a little rc autogyro to dip my feet in rotor aircraft. To keep things simple, I've ordered a 450 size heli swashplate and some 700 blades to save making a tilting hub, which in turn adds complexity (in good and bad ways) to the control.
I can't find much in the way of resources on autogyro design and don't really know what i'm doing yet - in terms of CoL, CoM, CoD, etc. I'm familiar with fixed wing design but not much of that seems to carry over except for control surfaces.
Could anyone point me to resources or give tips? I'm not really banking on it working first time but being in the ballpark would be nice
