but like the other anons have said. you really need to find the right components to make it look really good. You need silver components and the only modern builds that have them are Campy groups and those cost a fortune.
Here is my retro-modern build that I have tinkered with for ages. Campy 9 speed is what I went with. Still not done yet, a few things to fix, but this is the most fun build I have ever had. It's basically my perfect fit.
