I slept at a highway rest stop just after Kakegawa that night & there was a thunderstorm that wormed its way into my hammock, ended up sleeping on a bench inside the rest stop after my sleeping bag got soaked. The next morning I set off for Fuji, a small town at the base of Mt. Fuji.
