>>1746998I’ll look into fork bags, something to help move weight to the front whenever it’s needed sounds useful, could even bolt them on my rack I guess with the 3 bolts. I could fit all my sleep gear on the rack maybe in one giant drybag if I wanted with food and tools in the framebag honestly, but sounds like keeping it balanced with front bags is the way to go.
This all basically evolved from my longest mtb rides being limited by daylight and the return to my car, and me wanting to bring camping gear to bike further, I have zero experience touring and so far all the trips I’m really looking at are 4day max (or a max of 3 days with no resupply) so I’m trying to keep the riding quality as much as possible since that’s why I’m there
