>>1379925>broken chainI always keep a chain tool and missing link in my pack. Haven't had a chain snap in years, but want to play it safe. I did however forget to put my rollers back in during my last winter-spring overhaul, and biked to work like pic related. I realized pretty early on in the ride, but just took it easy and dealt with it at work. I was grateful to have the tools with me so I could ride home properly.
So far the only mid-ride repairs I've had to do are punctures, and a snapped RD cable. Obv the cable was a matter of removing it and riding home in 1st.
