And to be fair, a lot of people who are riding "track bikes" on the street are using them to do U-turns and riding on sidewalks and shit.
I'm just saying having no toe overlap is extremely comfy, I can do U-turns if i wanted and track stand with my feet in any position without having to watch out that my foot doesn't touch the wheel.
