>>1907877Fausto Coppi himself was the man. Him and Eddie Merckx where the most dominant cyclists ever.
Coppi was a prisoner of war in Africa and got recognized by a british soldier, from cycling magazines. He was also not a fascist.
Coppi himself rode Bianchi. I've seen the Coppi name on a number of different classic bikes and they tend to be Italian bike boom garbage, heavy, poorly finished, and quite charming. It's not a prestigious marque. The name went on a number of different things over the years.
I don't love the look of that one but it's clearly a reasonably decent road bike. A serious bike. The profile fork is quite nice spec. Low end campy is iffy. Is that veloce? What spec are the ergos? If they're nicer, chorus, etc, i'd definately be keener. You're in for more money on cassettes and bbs with campy and you need meme wheels if those wear out. I'm not sure if i'd recommend old veloce/mirage/daytona etc, the low end stuff.
Depends on condition though. You can generally tell by looking at the wear on the hoods. They have preforated rubber, when they wear smooth avoid, a high mileage group.
