>>1842763Actually great quality (especially the frames, the construction is robust) but expensive as hell, love the pic of folded Brompton. Here (Indonesia), owning a Brompton feels like owning a Rolls-Royce of folding bike. Local brand, local made, highest specification trifold bicycle (pic, 11 speed Shimano Alfine, Shimano Deore discbrake) only costs $1200; one-third of Brompton price. Even there is an E-Bike version of it just only for $1400 (with 8 speed and mechanical discbrake though)
>>1843102>>1843141>>1844579I own a 16" bifold bicycle (Local made brand, bought at discount for only $120) and it still feels cumbersome even when folded, still larger than folded trifolds (and slow also quite uncomfortable compared to 20"). Trifold bicycle is very compact that you could even sneak it as normal baggage instead of sports baggage if you take a flight. Still folding bikes only advantage is that you could carry inside public transportation, and you need to commuting around by mix of walking and cycling. Better use normal bicycles if you want to go full cycling. If you somehow need to have a folding bike, getting a trifold worth the portability, bifolds couldn't beat the trifolds on size
