This is the New Mexico rail runner map. I think the idea is smart but the population and money isn’t really there for it to work (NM is poor as fuck and largely rural) I think this idea could work well though if applied in better areas and assuming they place the stations in smart areas and keep fares low. Somewhere like the I-25 corridor in Colorado, a train that both connects the major cities but also connects the suburbs to the cities.
