That ScaleTrains Rivet Counter loco might look really damn sweet, but you and your budget might be better served with a cheaper Athearn RTR one, or an even cheaper Blue Box one.
Most importantly, when you're shopping for locomotives, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Look up reviews and google search for user info. I cannot stress this enough, because there is a guy at my club who doesn't do this, is constantly getting burned, and I'm tired of babysitting him.
