iirc i asked them about UD vs 3K because a product pic exists of the 3K version but i never found a seller that actually had the 3K version or even a real life picture besides the one product pic but i got a pretty useless answer from them
i'll look at it again later but like if the circled areas in pic related are inconsistent by a couple of mm, the inconsistency is made worse at the lever tips because the tips are further away from the pivot point
you might not notice it if the hoods aren't perfectly level with each other and if you don't inspect it very closely
so maybe a smaller error like 5mm at the tip is normal but it's more noticeable on my levers
