Sadly i don't have any general reading material about trikes myself.After looking for a bit i only found the owners manual for your trike on the worksman homepage which should come in handy in case a special part fails so you can order the right one.
Trikes tend to be very sturdy from what i could gather online, provided you don't have a single piece rear axle as these seem to bend over time if always driven in a loaded state and are not so easily replaced and expensive.I'm sure the /bqg/ will suffice in case you run into any general bike related trouble.
I do recommend to grease the faceplates of the hinge so they don't rust shut or damage the paint and to look into the frame periodically to check if it's moisture free.
Make sure to keep the old chains when you get new ones to measure the exact amount of links.If the tension is too tight you'll get a nasty clunking sound while freewheeling.
