Construction is mostly at a standstill except the lower branch line on the left side, which is already in operation to allow trains get to the depot. It'll be opened next year, and after that there's nothing more in the works.
This project has eaten up all of our public transit funding, making it impossible to make any other more reasonable subway extensions. It's calculated that total cost will be 16bn euros, which amounts to about 350m per km of subway line. It may not seem like that much to burgers, but this is a poor country and we can't afford shit like that.
