The previous owner used it for touring around Japan when she lived there, so yeah lol, pedalling down mountains.
I think the range makes sense for touring.
The catalogue from 1991 even shows a guy touring on it.
Stock it would have been 46 - 36 -24 which would be better for the riding I do, but it's not a huge deal. It still shifts excellently.
