>>1322133Ya, three of my bikes pull that duty, tho I found out that the Biopace chainset on my Miyata 615 causes knee problems if I ride it daily. Since everything else on that bike is getting worn to shit, I've decided to give it a complete overhaul with 1st gen Suntour Cyclone GT, a Suntour XC Pro chainset with nice low gearing (42/32/20), a 13-22 6sp freewheel, and some other goodies that are still arriving. I'll also be adding permanent lighting via a Sanyo dynohub. I got the bike for $300 in like-new condition about 5 years ago, and it's been really good to me. Only downside is that I'm going to need a new beater, because after the overhaul this bike will be much too nice to leave locked up outside for any length of time.
