>>1491168I was looking up pictures of Chessie switchers to see what they looked like (I remember road units coming through town in the 80s) and found out they had a shop switcher in West Virginia that was battery powered. It was built in 1917 by GE and is preserved at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, although it is apparently not on display.
