How do you know when it's time to upgrade from an entry level road bike to a higher end bike? I can afford the bike I am looking at but I am having a hard time justifying purchasing it other than the fact that I want to race next year, really enjoy climbing and would probably enjoy the difference of going from a 9-speed to 11-speed cassette. Plus I could turn my current road bike into a commuter/bike packing bike.
