Hungary still has state run railways, and as a result we have service to a lot of rural areas during a time when many other nations are closing rail line after rail line. The leftists tried to follow the more Western model and cut service to these areas, but Orbán brought many of them back because a lot of his support is from the outlying areas. Service isn't amazing and a lot of the infrastructure is outdated, but it does the job better than much of the rest of the world.
