Rails and stations all exist, just the boness line is only a heritage railway and the Dunfermline line needs a change in Edinburgh at the moment (used this many times in the past, but direct would be more convenient)
Boness one is particularly annoying as that is where the national railways museum is, would be a much better day out to get the train there rather than the bus
