I stumbled across some really based boomers while working earlier. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the most based rc plane on display, on the other table in the background surrounded by boomers was what looked like an F-4 Phantom II air frame, work in progress, with a real working turbine that they powered on for a few seconds and I was there to hear and see it. I said "Woah! Is that a real turbine?!" and the old boomer gave me a huge shit eating grin and nodded confidently. I never saw so many happy boomers with genuine child-like smiles on, it was an incredibly wholesome moment.
