>>1047745Snow must be the hardest thing to model. Look up a guy by the name of Mark Dance he has an N-scale layout called the Columbia & Western that features an impressive snow scene. Google him, he has youtube vids and is in this months Model Railroader magazine and numerous backissues of CRM.
I have a May 2013 issue of RMC that features his layout but it doesn't explain how he did the realistic snow. I think that was explained in an earlier issue.
Years ago I read about how a guy sprinkled diamond dust on top of plaster to get that sparkly blue-white look. But the material is expensive & exotic. Haven't heard anyone else using that.
