>Are these all the same brand/model of tube?No. Different manufacturers, different types of tubes. From super thick tubes to thin PU tubes, they all puncture in the same spot next to the seam, as shown in the picture.
>Does a fresh tube that hasn't been placed into a tire have the marks if you just inflate it outside the tire?I haven't tested this, but it's unlikely since that would mean that all manufacturers have trash quality control for their tubes and they all show weak spots at the seam.
What do you think would cause this (assuming it's in relation to the tape) ?
The one I'm using is Schwalbe high pressure tape, the one that is laid over the rim. Maybe I should opt for tape that is glued on the rim?
I'm pretty clueless as to what causes this. Something is causing the parts at the seam to become thin, bulge out, and ultimately burst, after just a short time of riding.
Which tape do you recommend? What about old-school textile tape?
