This thing started its life as a 62cm discount store brand (German Company called BOC) alu cyclocross bike back in 2009 with a 105 5600 groupset and Truvativ Elita cross crank. Added Mavic Aksium wheels with Schwalbe G-One 40-622 tires, a Terry Fly Arteria seat and pinned flats a while ago. Recently converted to 580mm Ritchey pro flat bar with Lizard Skins Northshore grips, Tiagra 4600 shifters and Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes.
Pending: Brake boosters front and rear, possibly suspension seatpost (not sure yet).
Someday I might switch over the parts to a 64cm Surly Crosscheck frameset (bc I like the feel of the steel), but I'm still waiting for a good deal.
I don't regret switching to flat bars, btw.
