>>1947882Bit of both. The new incline by Martha Road is equally as steep since both had to connect to the Lechmere Viaduct (the only remaining original elevated rail section left). On the flip side, at least Boston is attempting to expand its streetcar network. Apparently the new GLX Medford extension is pretty well received. There's also small talks of reusing the Pleasant street tunnel and running a "new" line down Blue Hill Ave out to Mattapan, replacing the 43 bus.
On the other hand theyre getting rid of the PCCs soon, so there's no reason to care about the Mattapan line.
