One of the washers that holds the brake cable stop in my STI lever disappeared while I was in the middle of replacing my headset cable stop, so I had to replace that, huge pain in the ass and now suddenly my headset seems to need a rebuild after it was fine before
Soon planning to throw on some 35mm pasela pts to soften up the commute, do a full cleaning / rebuild, re-tape the bars with fizik performance tape, install a sick rare Dia Compe stem I found, polish everything, get a little kink out of my fork's alignment and install my front rack so I'm ready to do some weekend tours.
Long term the plan is to replace the levers with either the older 2x10 speed 105's or the new Tiagras that route the shift housing under the tape, to prevent it from fucking with my bar bag & install a compact hollowtech 105 crank to simplify things a bit / correct the chainline / add stiffness / save weight. Want to run a 46/34, with an 11-36 for touring or a 12-30 for every day use. Also wanna add some nice XT pedals, build a new touring wheelset with a dynohub on the front (thinking Araya TX-310's, XT front dyno, rear 105 sealed hub, DT swiss DB spokes.)
It'll be awhile before I have the money for most of those upgrades though :(
