I was expecting shitty riding today after yesterday's snow, but instead the conditions were perfect. Just enough vehicle traffic on the side streets to create a smooth fast packed surface. In the afternoon when the sun came out it disintegrated into slush.
About halfway through the ride I crashed at 18 km/h. I must have caught the edge of an icy rut hidden by the fresh snow. Landed ok with just a small gouge from getting smacked in the shin with a pedal. With snow on the ground I didn't scrape up my jacket or tights, ground still pretty hard though.
