A lot of the time there's cheaper stuff that'll work, but 80% of the shit on amazon is chinesium garbage that will destroy your bike and it can be hard to sort through it, so just defaulting to PT is always a safe bet if the price doesn't bother you much.
Any normal tools you need just get from home depot instead, but that's probably not much more than hex wrenches and maybe a low-range torque wrench.
