IMO if you don't stop and ask cyclists if they're ok, then you're either an autist (ok, cool) or an asshole. They're probably just gonna be fine and having a rest, but if they've had an accident or can't fix something or you give them a tube or someone nearly killed them or they're lost then a tiny bit of help can be huge.
Ok, sure, don't acknowledge one of the thousands of cyclists in a city, but if you're out riding a route in the mountains or something and you see one fucker every half hour going hard then you smile at that cunt and share a bit of love with the world.
