>>1952193There's a whole lot of military check points now, at the entrace of large cities, near critical infrastructure (Dniester power station) and in border areas. Most times I got waved through, but occasionally I had my passport and bags checked. I was interrogated twice in Southern Ukraine, ostensibly because I visited Russia a couple of years ago. I think they were just bored and curious though. They were quite friendly.
Pic related is a destroyed residential building in Sergeevka, a small resort town on the Black Sea. The place got bombed early into the war. The missile strike claimed 21 deaths. Sergeevka used to be popular with Russians. They're not coming anymore. The place is almost completely deserted now.
