A similar specced bike but with a shimano m7100 groupset(12s) would cost me around 915 euros, and that's with new parts found at first search. Usually when you upgrade you can transfer your old wheels, seatpost/saddle, grips and pedals to your new bike plus some stuff you might be able to find much cheaper if you do some digging.
As I said, I'm still not convinced this whole "just buy a new bike, bro" is actually legit, at least in Europoor.
